As the year is nearing its end, we would like to wish all our clients & partner auctioneers a Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year as we review our year of auctions for 2017.
Our auction team are celebrating an impressive run of 15 successful public auctions across Connacht, Leinster & Munster. The properties offered at these auctions ranged from family homes, investment properties, commercial buildings, sites along with several successful sales of agricultural holdings. Company directors Patrick Folan and Patrick Convey were delighted to announce a 96% sold rate with 254 lots successfully selling during the year.
Mr. Folan noted “our auctions are aimed at the normal property market and not distressed sales which other auction companies have become well known for. With this in mind we are very proud to reach the 96% success, our highest annual sold ratio to date. We are also the only auction company in Ireland who do not have any entry or marketing fees to enter a property into auction, so the pressure is on us to ensure we get results for our clients.”
We work with over 150 partner agents across Ireland and Mr. Convey commented “the success of our auctions is down to the large marketing campaigns we undertake in Ireland and abroad while also working in close partnership with our local partner auctioneers. This combination of regional / national auction house in partnership with the local agent offers both access to the local buying pool and the broader reach the auction advertising brings.”
With auctions taking place in Connacht, Munster and Leinster early next year, each region is continuing to take entries for their online auctions which are ongoing and there will be a further 15 public auction events planned for 2018.
With the auctions reaching an average of over 90% success rate in 2016 and also 2017, we will be aiming for similar results in 2018.
Next Auction dates for each area are as follows:
The Connacht Property Auction – February 20th in The Menlo Park Hotel, Galway
